Dye Craft

Transformations in the dye pot are powerful. The coaxing of color from mushrooms, flowers, leaves and insects can be deeply satisfying, and if you know how to convince them to stay…well, there’s magic in that! Yup, June considers chemistry to be a nerdy form of magic (tip of the hat to all those who have learned to share it!)

Willow

Willow plants and basketry teachers have shared so much with us over the last couple years and we are loving our developing relationships. Nearly 20 years ago, June saw a willow casket and vowed to one day make one. We worked together and brought that dream into the world, and along the way found that we loved growing and working with willow during all seasons.

Soapmaking

June has supplied her household with soap for nearly 15 years and has been developing her own soap recipes since 2016. She keeps a few solid favorites stocked in her online shop like Smoky Pine Tar, made with her own homemade tar. She also gets inspired to add a few new and creative bars around the holidays.

They are always full of organic and quality sourced oils and fats, plus locally harvested ingredients that make them stand out.

No palm oils or synthetic fragrances.

Wreaths & Flower Craft

June has found that growing and gathering plants for small-scale community-building, ceremony and ritual to be one of the highlights of her summer. She will be scaling up a bit for 2026 and focused mainly on group wreath making adventures, small celebrations and funerals.
